II see this kind of picture all the time, but usually they are taken in Yellowstone or Yosemite.  So when I saw this taking shape in my own backyard, I got kind of excited.  Snow has the ability to trick your camera's white balance so it is important to bracket.  I mostly shoot in manual mode on my camera so a little over-exposed will fix that problem.  Taking a picture like this is a little out of my comfort zone, so I was happy it turned out.
